MACEDONIA OPEN 2005
FAI 2nd CATEGORI EVENT

1. Aims of the Championship
- To determine national and international champion (male and female)
- To promote and develop paragliding accuracy event
- To exchange experience and strengthen friendly relations between the paragliderists
- To allow participants to share and exchange experience, knowledge and information

4. Authority

Competition will be conducted under the authority granted by the Aeronautical Federation
Of Macedonia according to the regulations of the Sporting Code of the FAI, General section,
Section 7C and the Competition Rules for the European Cup in Paragliding Accuracy 2005.

5 . Competition Rules

5.1 Differences in the rules
5.1.1 Differences in the rules of the competition and previously mentioned documents are not in conflict

5.2 Classification
5.2.1 Separate classification will be made for men and women
5.2.2 Separate classification will be made for national and international competition

5.3 Entry and entry fee
5 . 3 .1 Entry will be made on official entry form until April 8(including)
5.3.2 Entry fee is 25€. Entry fee includes: local transport, launch packet and souvenir

5 . 4 Registration
5.4.1 For registration, competitors need the following documentation:
         - Valid national paraglider pilot license or IPPI license
         - FAI sport license (only for international competition)
         - Satisfactory evidence of paraglider airworthiness
         - Receipt for payment of entry fee

5.5 Number of rounds
5.5.1 Competition consists of 6(six) rounds. Minimum 2(two) rounds must          be competed to determine placing and declare winners

5 . 6 Complaints and Protests
5.6.1 If the competitor is not accepting the result that is entered in the          sheet and refuses to verify it, he(she) has right to verbal complaint          to the Chief Judge
5.6.2 Chief judge in consultation with minimum one other judge can accept          the complaint and grant re-flight. For his decision he will inform the          competitor as soon as possible
5.6.3 If the competitor's complaint is turned down, he (she) has right to          written protest to the Jury within 1 hour of publication of the          provisional task results.
5.6.4 For every written protest, the competitor has to pay a protest fee of          25€ which will be returned if the protest is upheld

5.6.2 Landing place
         Location: Village MAVROVO (Football Field)
         Elevation: 1235m
         Coordinates (WGS 84): N 41° 38' 2.2” E 20° 43' 52.6”

5.7 Order of take-off
5.7.1 The order of take-off will be determined by draw at the beginning of          the competition and it will be valid for all rounds
